She went for the money. Left her husband at home to take care of the kids. They are now getting a divorce. Her kids resent her. They hate their father because he had a one night stand that they inadvertantly found out about. I know this won't and doesn't happen to all families, but it certainly doesn't make things easier. It would be a shame if she had to give up that scholarship. Sounds like it's time to call the school and see what the offer for non-trads? Lots of schools have programs to help these days. At first I didn't understand why it hit me so hard, but I think when someone else goes through the unnecessary struggles of a teenage pregnancy, one can't help but to get emotional about it. I was always open with her about how difficult things were for me as a result of my unplanned, teen pregnancy, but I guess my experience wasn't real enough for her. Wow, It's hard to believe that a mother would volunteer to go to Iraq right now, but I'm sure the decision wasn't easy. God Bless her. I do believe he was misunderstood and an open target for the media. To me, he had a heart of gold. One of my favorite MJ quotes: "But I will never stop helping and loving people the way Jesus said to." I never heard a deranged person talk about helping and loving others. Peace and blessings.
