Inside Scoop on Finding Fabulous Deals
It’s that time of year when many of us are gearing up for the holiday shopping season, making our lists, checking them twice, and (hopefully) spending wisely. As you know, I am always on the lookout for a fabulous deal, but when I find them, I don’t always have time to post them on the blog. In fact, many of them are time sensitive or a deal for THAT day only. But I always share them immediately in my Google Reader because all I have to do is click a button. So if you want to keep up with the fabulous deals I find during this holiday shopping season, use Google Reader to subscribe to my blog, then sit back while I send the deals to you. Another advantage of subscribing to my blog via Google Reader is the interesting articles I share throughout the week. For example, here are several that my subscribers have already seen:

Single Ma, I am subscribed to your blog via google reader, but i don’t get your “shared” items - i think we also have to be “friends” on google for me to see things you share - any idea how to make this happen? maybe if you send me an email we’ll be connected?

I just subscribed to your blog on Google Reader (I usually use NetNewsWire) but I’m having trouble viewing the shared list. The only thing I see from you are the regular blog posts and I get that on NNW. Is there an extra step I have to take to view the deals?
Hey Single Ma,
You need to go into your Google Reader account and click on Your Stuff > Shared Items… from there you will see a link address that you can share with us so that we can view your shared items. We need that link.
Otherwise, you’re going to have befriend all of your readers. I’m sure you don’t want to do that. At least I wouldn’t.
You’re both on the shared list already.
