Yep, I have Verizon and my internet was dumbing out too! It’s finally working now.
Verizon wireless or land service?
AT&T seems to be OK, I received my first bill yesterday, after signing on with AT&T in September. I was a loyal Sprint customer for almost 10 years and decided to switch and jump on rollover minutes
My bill was $579!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For two months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Turns out that even though I purchased data service, if my teenager uses MSN IM then it is considered to be texts and not Internet use, WTF?
So I call them up and being all nice and sugar sweet and polite, calmly asked the rep if there is anything could be done, being that I was assured at the store that messages that are sent via Internet are not texts. I was on the brink of collapse. Rep who helped me was really courteous (granted, I had to wait for 10 min to get to someone) and took off over $200 from my bill and set me up for unlimited IM/texts. I was happy, still a large expense, but at least now it is more aligned with my previous wireless expense for three lines.
Disclaimer: I am not working for AT&T.
P.S. My employer has a program where we get %15 off recurring monthly charges, check if yours does, or perhaps they can add that benefit
Verizon’s too expensive! I love sprint….but it probably helps that I’ve got friends who get me deals on my phone/internet!!!
Edit: Sprint wireless internet is not good. I got charged for texts too! Therefore, i’m cancelling my account (I should also point out that i’m macbook-less until i get it fixed!)
