Free Night of Theater 2008

Free Night of Theater 2008 launches in over 100 cities across the country.

From the website:

From Seattle to Miami and from Austin to Baltimore over 600 theatre companies are opening their doors to thousands of new theatregoers and introducing them to joys of live theatre - absolutely free of charge!

Performances run from October 16 through October 30 (dates vary by location), but many are already sold out.  A quick check on the DC and Baltimore area, I see Romeo & Juliet (romantic), Citizen Josh (political), and Cyclopedia (educational) still have reservations available.  Find your location and free theater listings here.  Did ya hear me?  It’s FREE!

Great idea!! I just reserved 2 tickets to see Romeo and Juliet on Saturday!! My GF’s bday is on Thursday, so I hope this is just one more thing we can enjoy! (and being that it’s free, with our economy being in its current state, free is very good in and of itself! LOL)
