Fabulous Financials

I’m a little late with this summary, so my net worth is showing a reduction in value, which is an accurate (but slightly misleading) account as of September 8th.  A lot happens to my finances during the first week of a new month, so what we really see here is a side-by-side comparison of “before bills, after credit card payment, after payday” in July net worth and “after bills, new credit card charges, before payday” in August net worth.  Therefore, as of September 8th vs. September 1st, my August Net Worth is $158,348.56, a ($2,069) or (1.29%) reduction from July 2008.

It’s hard to explain the increase or decrease because the comparison is not apples to apples.  However, I will say this much – that friggin rental property was milking my cash flow with expenses and carrying costs.  Man, that was no fun!  Somehow, I managed to survive without debt.  I’m just glad the first year is behind me and I’m looking forward to a new year with new tenants.

I won’t even mention my 2008 net worth goal anymore.  It’s a wrap!

AUGUST INCOME & EXPENSES
