When I was in Vegas a few weeks ago, I was fascinated by the glitz and glamour - especially the posh mall at Caesar’s Palace and the retail prices at these “regular” stores. Funny thing, they claimed their prices were higher in THIS location because their selection was UNIQUE. Hmm, ok. You be the judge…

Beautiful bag, right? Fine workmanship too.
My camera is crap, so the pictures don’t show the detail very well. But trust me when I say, this was a beautiful, beautiful bag.
Can you guess how much it costs?
Unless someone guesses correctly, I’ll let you know the real price sometime this weekend.
UPDATE: Pennypincher’s comment was EXACTLY right. Believe or not, this handbag was on display and selling for the ri-THICK-culous retail price of $12,000. Yep, TWELVE THOUSAND dead presidents. I couldn’t believe it! At first, I thought the tag said $1,200. But my girlfriend gently pointed out that there was clearly another zero my eyes were failing to recognize. Lawdymercy, I loss my breath. Then promptly walked my broke azz out of that store. LOL!
But I went back just to get a picture for y’all. 
Work to achieve, not to acquire.

I think this bag really is in the $10K range - which is absurd to me because it’s Coach for crying out loud - lol - not a Birkin or a Kelly or a Chanel! Coach is nowhere near the same league as the other’s and 10K is about what the other’s would go for.
Scratching my head on this one and wondering who would even invest in anything Coach has for $10K…

Not sure. I actually don’t like the purse at all, so I wouldn’t pay much for it. However, I own the purse that is in the corner of your picture in a beautiful teal blue-ish color. It was my birthday gift from my husband (though I picked it out) because I hadn’t bought anything for myself for the entire year, and we both felt it would be a well-deserved splurge. It was $899 (if my memory serves me right). I saw the bag in Korea at the Coach store and they wanted $1800 for it, so I tracked it down on the website and by calling customer service for the color I wanted and they mailed it to me in Korea to our APO address (military) and I got it tax free!
That being said, if this bag is real croc, then the amount is probably in the $13,000 range…for a Coach. If I could spend that much on a bag, I’d prefer to just get an Hermes Birkin or the smaller one!

I’m just laughing at all the peeps that thought you bought it! Nowhere in your post do you say you purchased said bag…just that you admired it. SM has more sense than to spend those amounts on a bag…especially without haggling the price down and/or researching prices elsewhere!!

My guess would be meaningless–and people have already covered the range that my guess would be in. I do like Coach bags, but much like I admire yachts or mansions…owning them just isn’t even in the realm of my possibility right now, even if I wanted to buy them (which I don’t, for the sake of frugality/practicality).
