Is your favorite Starbucks location on the list?

I checked for mine…*sigh…let’s just say the addiction will continue.

Luckily, the four Starbucks by my house (yes, FOUR) are safe from the chopping block. I can’t be without my iced caramel macchiattos and green tea frappacinos.

Sigh…And I wonder why I am slipping into the double digits in clothing sizes.

The one across the street from my building is staying open. I’ll have to keep working on will power.

Starbucks is opening another 200 within the next year. I don’t get what the big deal is.

There is five or six Starbucks around in the Wall Street area that I know of and I am sure there are couple of them lurking that I do not know of, always lines there, I do not see them closing any time soon :-)
Good thing is that now they sell this Banana Mango pretein powder shake that replaces a whole meal for me, so I am not complaining of their proximity to my office. I do not buy coffee from them since the cafeteria in my building brews their coffee and sells it for a $1 less than Starbucks does. I also buy Starbucks by the pound and make my own brew with some International Delight creamer-tastes just like latte. Used to spend up to $10 a day for just lattes, no more of that frivolous spending, thanks to SM lessons in living beyond your means.
Sushi addiction is next on my list of things to cut down on or eliminate (sh*t that is going to be tough)

The morning I heard about the closings I asked my favorite barista if the store in my neighborhood was closing. She laughed and said this particular store makes more in one day than those other stores make in a week.

While I do buy it and brew it at home on the weekends, my office brews Caribou, which I hate, so the addiction continues…

And Shay, I count my daily fat and calorie intake. Just go to their website for the nutritional information for the drinks you like. They list 20 different beverages with under 400 calories.

Oh sorry, I meant 20 different beverages under 200 calories, not 400!

There are two within a mile of my house and neither is on the list. In fact, none of the locations in my entire city are on the list.

None close to my home or office are on the list. I’m very familiar with some of the locations they are closing and I am surprised they are on the list. One of them they just opened less than a year ago.

One is closing near my house, but think of all the money you would save if Starbuck’s closed near your office. When I was commuting everyday I got hooked and enjoyed my morning and afternoon Americano and cookie. When I started working from home, I gave-up my Starbucks addiction and saved over $2,300 a year. How much do you spend a year on Starbucks? It adds up quickly.
