Hey Single Ma,
I love your blog and I love how you inspire people to take control of their lives financially. Your success is well merited and I wish you nothing but the best on your journey to being financially free.
It might be just me, but you seem to have held a little hostility over a comment poster who made a comment about your "working for white men" outlook.
Your reply was, "Please be careful thinking someone cares about your opinion."
While you might not agree with someone's opinion you can still care for it and discuss it. It's in this discussion that we can find that we're truly more alike than different, rather than rebuttal quickly.
The perception of seeing things from other people's point of views has enormous influence on not only our lives but in business also. Once again, I post this comment without a shrewd of negativity but to simply point out an area of discussion. I admire that you speak your mind and in fact encourage you to do so and in turn be able to discuss with those who oppose.
All the best Single Ma.

<strong>Thank you for reading and your point is well taken, but please believe me when I say I don't care. Unless I "ask" for an opinion, I really don't care what someone else thinks about my choices. I said what I said and I meant it. I love (and prefer) to work for WHITE MEN and I don't care who disagrees. I did not state it as fact, but it is MY preference based on MY experience. Another person's opinion will not change that.

At any rate, opposing views are always welcome (i.e. you may prefer to work for black women because...you don't like working for white men because...you don't have a preference because...you prefer not to state your preference because...those are opposing views), but telling me what I should or should not say/do on my blog is not and never will be acceptable.
Hi Singlema!

Let me first say I LOVE your blog. I read it all the time. You sound like someone who I would have known back in the day when I was growing up in northern NJ. Secondly congratulations on your new job. I hope to be making a similar move very soon. I've been compelled to comment before, but your comment about working for "white men" was too tempting for me to pass up. I work for a white man, who, on any given day starts out as Dr. Jekyll and then unpredictably turns into Mr. Hyde. Although this is not my main reason for leaving, this is unacceptable behavior that has been previously brought to his attention. I have never worked for someone who exhibited this behavior and I hope to never experience or witness this again in my next job.

I admire the way you speak your mind, especially when it comes to your blog. Actually, I was kinda surprised you let that post through...I'm guessing you prolly got similar comments and used that as an example of what NOT to do on FF. The very fact that you are so candid and honest is what appeals to me about your blog. I get tired of the "preachy" stuff...I like reading about other people's experiences and how they choose to deal with things. Then I reflect on it and take from it what I can use. Not that you need me to tell you gurl, but u do u!! Cuz nobody else can!!
