I Need to Take Better Care of Myself

Single Ma is sick…a MF ‘gain!!

My thermostat is on 68 and I feel like it’s 88 degrees up in here. I can’t breathe out my nose, my head is pounding, I’m sneezing like the bees have pollenated my whole house and my eyes are watering like I’ve been watching Roots. This is the 4th time this year!

I need to do something different. I need to slow my roll cuz this is fuggin with my fabulosity. I need to strengthen my immune system. I need to eat more vegetables. I need to take vitamins. I need to workout. I need to take yoga, meditation, something! Being sick sucks! :-(

*exhale*

Sorry about that. Carry on…

Peace & Blessings
~SM

Ok, this is totally unsolicited advice and for that I truly apologize. But have you been checked by your doctor for allergies? I ask only because I was sick over and over again last year, and my doctor chalked some of it up to allergies. I’ve been on Allegra and Singulair for about seven months now and I haven’t caught anything since. *knocks on wood* Just a thought! Hope you feel better very soon! (PS – I just found you recently and you’re very inspiring… I’m trying to get myself out of debt… not so successfully yet)

@ 3 things – You are too sweet. Thank you. Know anything about green tea? I’ve heard mixed benefits.

@ gooders – Welcome and thank you. Sorry you caught me on a bad day. :-(

@ valbee – Unsolicited but always welcome. No apologies needed hun. You might be on to something because I noticed that I’m getting sick everytime the weather changes. It was cold (for the first time this season) and raining this weekend and my body started going downhill yesterday. I do have a lot of allergies but I never connected them to ’seasonal’ allergies. You might be right. I’m callin the doc in the morning. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. In the meantime, I’m about to pop a Benadryl to see if it works.

See, I have the most fabulous readers!! Y’all be lookin out for a sista. Awwwwwwwww :-)

*blowing germ infested kisses at all y’all*

      LOL

I really think it’s allergies because after I took a few benadryl, I started feeling much better. Not 100% but better. It’s all from the neck and up. I wish I could stop burning from both ends, but business must continue, lil Diva has needs, and so many people depend on me. I promise to take better care of myself, but I gotta keep on keepin on…

LOL You are funny even laying in bed all sick! I love chammomile tea with lots of honey when I am not feelin so hot- warning! It will knock you out! LOL

Maybe you can find some deals on something and test selling them on Ebay or a local classifieds? Make money whle laying there? If you can do it and make a good return, you would find people to invest in YOU for a return! LOL Then you can afford that cabana boy…
