It’s a lovely day when you check your mailbox and have money waiting for ya. Today I received two $100 gift cards to Tarjay. Yep, two hunned bones…FREE. And guess where they came from?

Come on…guess?

Remember back in May when I applied for the Citi Diamond Preferred and Citi Professional cards? Each one gave me 10,000 “Thank You” points to be redeemed for $100 after the first purchase.

Well, being the professional hustler that I am, I used one card to fill up on gas ($31) and the other to buy groceries for the week ($46). Mmm Hmm, gas and groceries — normal monthly expenses. Since Citi doesn’t specify an amount for the “first purchase,” I could have bought two packs of gum and called it a day. Now that’s how ya pimp a credit card!

While I waited for the charges to post, I went on a mission in search of my bathroom colors. And where did I find them? None other than the fabulous Tarjay. ;-) When the statement closed, my “Thank You” points appeared the very next day. Yea, I was checkin’ for ‘em like a crack feign waitin on the rotation. LMAO!

Then I registered my cards on the Citi “Thank You” network, selected Tarjay, and click click click…BAM! — $200 on the way! Both cards were paid off then I had to wait about five business days to receive the gift cards. Now here I sit with $200 for doing absolutely nothing. Although it cost me a hard, it’s worth it when the credit card company pays YOU.
